kuntinandan! kaliyug mean dharm ek hi charan se sthit hota hai. is tamogun yug ko pakar bhagavan vishnu ke shrivigrah ka rang kala ho jata hai. vaidik sadachar, dharm tatha yajn-karm nasht ho jate haian. eeti, vyadhi, alasy, krodh adi dosh, manasik rog tatha bhookh-pyas ka bhay- ye sabhi upadrav badh jate haian. yugoan ke parivartan hone par ane vale yugoan ke anusar dharm ka bhi hras hota jata hai. is prakar dharm ke kshin hone se lok ki sukh-suvidha ka bhi kshay hone lagata hai. lok ke kshin hone par usake pravartak bhavoan ka bhi kshay ho jata hai. yug-kshayajanit dharm manushh‍y ki abhisht kamanaoan ke viparit phal dete haian. yah kaliyug ka varnan kiya gaya, jo shighr hi ane vala hai. chirajivi log bhi is prakar yug ka anusaran karate haian. shatrudaman! tumhean mere puratan svaroop ko dekhane ya janane ke liye jo kautoohal hua hai, vah thik nahian haian. kisi bhi samajhadar manushh‍y ka nirarthak vishayoan ke liye agrah kyoan hona chahiye? mahabaho! tumane yugoan ki sankhya ke vishay mean mujhase jo prashn kiya hai, usake uth‍tar mean maianne yah sab batean batayi haian. tumhara kalyan ho, ab tum laut jao.'
