shrimadbhagavadgita a‍dhyay 11

anek mukh aur netroan se yukh‍t,[1] anek adbhut darshanoan vale,[2] bahut-se divh‍y bhooshanoan se yukh‍t[3] aur bahut-se divh‍y shastroan ko hathoan mean uthate hue,[4] divh‍y mala aur vash‍troan ko dharan kiye hue[5] aur divh‍y ganh‍dh ka sare sharir mean lep kiye hue, sab prakar ke ashcharyoan se yukh‍t, simarahit aur sab or mukh kiye hue virat sh‍varoop paramadev parameshvar ko arjun ne dekha. akash mean hajar sooryoan ke ek sath uday hone se uth‍panh‍n jo prakash ho, vah bhi us vishvaroop paramatma ke prakash ke sadrish kadachit hi ho.[6] panh‍duputr arjun ne us samay anek prakar se vibhakh‍t arthat prithak-prithak samh‍poorn jagat ko devoan ke dev shrikrishh‍n bhagavan ke us sharir mean ek jagah sthit dekha.[7] usake anantar vah ashchary se chakit aur pulakit sharir arjun[8] prakashamay vishvaroop paramath‍ma ko shraddha-bhaktisahit sir se pranam karake hath jo dakar bola.[9]

arjun bole- he dev! maian apake sharir mean samh‍poorn devoan ko tatha anek bhootoan ke samudayoan ko, kamal ke asan par virajit brahma ko, mahadev ko[10] aur samh‍poornrrishiyoan ko tatha divh‍y sarpoan ko dekhata hooan.[11] he samh‍poorn vishv ke sh‍vamin! apako anek bhuja, pet, mukh aur netroan se yukt tatha sab or se anant roopoan vala dekhata hooan. he vishvaroop! maian apake n aant ko dekhata hooan, n madhh‍y ko aur n adi ko hi. apako maian mukutayukh‍t, gadayukh‍t aur chakrayukh‍t tatha sab or se prakashaman tej ke punj, prajh‍valit agni aur soory ke sadrish jh‍yotiyukh‍t, kathinata se dekhe jane yogh‍y aur sab or se aprameyash‍varoop dekhata hooan.

  6. is‍ke dvara virat sh‍varoop bhagavan ke divh‍y prakash ko niroomay batalaya gaya hai. abhipray yah hai ki jis prakar hajaroan tare ek sath uday hokar bhi soory ki samanata nahian kar sakate, usi prakar hajar soory yadi ek sath akash mean uday ho jayan to unaka prakash bhi us virat sh‍varoop bhagavan ke prakash ki samanata nahian kar sakata. isaka karan yah hai ki sooryoan ka prakash anith‍y, bhautik aur simit hai; parantu virat sh‍varoop bhagavan ka prakash nith‍y, divh‍y, alaukik aur aparimit hai.
  7. yahaan yah bhav dikhalaya gaya hai ki devata-manushh‍y, pashu-pakshi, kit-patang aur vriksh adi bhokh‍trivarg, prithh‍vi, aantariksh, sh‍varg aur patal adi bhogh‍yash‍than evan unake bhogane yogh‍y asankhh‍y samagriyoan ke bhed se vibhakh‍t- is samash‍t brahmanh‍d ko arjun ne bhagavan ke sharir ke ek desh mean dekha. gita ke dasavean adhh‍yay ke aant mean bhagavan ne jo yah bat kahi thi ki is samh‍poorn jagat ko maian ek aansh mean dharan kiye hue sthit hooan, usi ko yahaan arjun ne prath‍yaksh dekha.
  8. is kathan ka abhipray yah hai ki bhagavan ke us roop ko dekhakar arjun ko itana mahan harsh aur ashchary hua, jisake karan usi kshan unaka samash‍t sharir pulakit ho gaya. unhoanne isase poorv bhagavan ka aisa aishvary poorn sh‍varoop kabhi nahian dekha tha; isaliye is alaukikaroop ko dekhate hi hridayapat par sahasa bhagavan ke aparimit prabhav ka kuchh aansh aankit ho gaya, bhagavan ka kuchh prabhav unaki samajh mean aya. isase unake harsh aur ashchary ki sima n rahi.
  9. arjun ne jab bhagavan ka aisa anant ashcharyamay drishh‍yoan se yukh‍t param prakashamay aur asim aishvary samanvit mahan sh‍varoop dekha, tab usase ve itane prabhavit hue ki unake man mean jo poorv jivan ki mitrata ka ek bhav tha, vah samasa viluph‍t-sa ho gaya; bhagavan ki mahima ke samane ve apane ko ath‍yant tuchh‍chh samajhane lage. bhagavan ke prati unake hriday mean ath‍yant poojh‍yabhav jagrat ho gaya aur us poojh‍yabhav ke pravah ne bijali ki tarah gati uth‍panh‍n karake unake mash‍tak ko usi kshan bhagavan ke charanoan mean tika diya aur ve hath jo dakar b de hi vinamrabhav se shraddha-bhaktipoorvak bhagavan ka sh‍tavan karane lage.
  10. brahma aur shiv devoan ke bhi dev haian tatha eeshvar koti mean haian, isaliye unake nam vishesharoop se liye gaye haian. evan brahma ko ‘kamal ke asan par virajit’ batalakar arjun ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki maian bhagavan vishh‍nu ki nabhi se nikale hue kamal par virajit brahma ko dekh raha hooan arthat unh‍hian ke sath apake vishh‍nuroop ko bhi apake sharir mean dekh raha hooan.
  11. yahaan sh‍varg, marth‍y aur patal- tinoan lokoan ke pradhan-pradhan vh‍yaktiyoan ke samuday ki ganana karake arjun ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki maian tribhuvanath‍mak samash‍t vishv ko apako sharir mean dekh raha hooan.
