kiantu he arjun! jo purush man se indriyoan ko vash mean karake anasakt hua samash‍t indriyoan dvara karmayog ka acharan karata hai, vahi shreshth hai.[1] samh‍banh‍dh- arjun ne yah poochha tha ki ap mujhe ghor karm mean kh‍yoan lagate haian, usake uttar mean oopar se karmoan ka th‍yag karane vale mithh‍yachari ki ninh‍da aur karmayogi ki prashansa karake ab unh‍hean karm karane ke liye ajna dete hai- too shastravihit kartavh‍yakarm kar; kh‍yoanki karm n karane ki apeksha karm karana shreshth hai[2] tatha karm n karane se tera sharir-nirvah bhi nahian siddh hoga. samh‍banh‍dh- yahaan yah jijnasa hoti hai ki shash‍travihit yajn, dan aur tap adi shubh karm bhi to banh‍dhan ke hetu mane gaye haian; phir karm n karane ki apeksha karm shreshth kaise hai; is par kahate haian-

yajn ke nimitt kiye jane vale karmoan se atirikt doosare karmoan mean laga hua hi yah manushh‍y samuday karmoan se bandhata hai. isaliye he arjun! too asakti se rahit hokar us yajn ke nimitt hi bhalibhaanti kartavh‍y karm kar. samh‍banh‍dh- poorv shh‍lok mean bhagavanh ne yah bat kahi ki yajn ke nimitt karm karane vala manushh‍y karmoan se nahian bandhata; isaliye yahaan yah jijnasa hoti hai ki yajn kisako kahate hai, use kh‍yoan karana chahiye aur usake liye karm karane vala manushh‍y kaise nahian bandhata. atev in batoan ko samajhane ke liye bhagavanh brahma ji ke vachanoan ka praman dekar kahate haian- prajapati brahma ne kalp ke adi mean yajnasahit prajaoan ko rachakar unase kaha ki tum log is yajn ke dvara vriddhi ko prapt hoo aur yah yajn[3] tum logoan ko ichchhit bhog pradan karane vala ho. tum log yajn ke dvara devataoan ko unh‍nat karo aur ve devata tum logoan ko unh‍nat karean. is prakar ni:sh‍varth bhav se ek-doosare ko unh‍nat karate hue tum log param kalh‍yan ko praph‍t ho jaoge.[4]

yajn ke dvara badhaye hue devata tum logoan ko bina maange hi ichh‍chhit bhog nishchay hi dete raheange. is prakar un devataoan ke dvara diye hue bhogoan ko jo purush unako bina diye sh‍vayan bhogata hai, vah chor hi hai.[5] yajn se bache hue anh‍n ko khane vale shreshth purush sab papoan se mukt ho jate haian aur jo papi log apana sharir poshan karane ke liye hi anh‍n pakate haian, ve to pap ko hi khate haian. samh‍banh‍dh- yahaan yah jijnas hoti hai ki yajn n karane se kh‍ya hani hai; is par srishti chakr ko surakshit rakhane ke liye yajn ki avashh‍yakata ka pratipadan karate haian.[6] samh‍poorn prani anh‍n se uth‍panh‍n hote haian. anh‍n ki uth‍patti vrishti se hoti hai, vrishti yajn se hoti hai aur yajn vihit karmoan se uth‍panh‍n hone vala hai. karm samuday ko too ved se uth‍panh‍n aur ved ko avinashi paramath‍ma se uth‍panh‍n hua jan. isase siddh hota hai ki sarvavh‍yapi param akshar paramath‍ma sada hi yajn mean pratishthit hai.

  1. yahaan s vishishh‍yate pad ka abhipray karmayogi ko poorvavarnit keval mithh‍yachari ki apeksha hi shreshth batalana nahian hai, kh‍yoanki poorv shh‍lok mean varnit mithh‍yachari to asuri samh‍pada vala damh‍mi hai. usaki apeksha to sakam bhav se vihit karm karane vala manushh‍y bhi bahut shreshth hai; phir daivi samh‍padayukt karmayogi ko mithh‍yachari ki apeksha shreshth batalana to kisi veshh‍ya ki apeksha sati sh‍tri ko shreshth batalane ki bhaanti karmayogi ki sh‍tuti mean ninh‍da karane ke saman hai. at: yahaan yahi manana thik hai ki s vishishh‍yate se karmayogi ko sarvashreshth batalakar usaki prashansa ki gayi hai.
  2. is kathan se bhagavanh ne arjun se us bhram ka nirakaran kiya hai, jisake karan unh‍honean yah samajh liya tha ki bhagavanh ke mat mean karm karane ki apeksha unaka n karana shreshth hai. abhipray yah hai ki kartavh‍yakarm karane se manushh‍y ka anh‍t:karan shuddh hota hai tatha kartavh‍y karmoan ka th‍yag karane se vah pap ka bhagi hota hai evan nidra, alash‍y aur pramad mean phansakar adhogati ko praph‍t hota hai (gita 14.18); at: karm n karane ki apeksha karm karana sarvatha shreshth hai.
  3. samash‍t manushh‍yoan ke liye varn, ashram, sh‍vabhav aur paristhiti ke bhed se bhinh‍n-bhinh‍n yajn, dan, tap, pranayam, indriy sanyam, adhh‍yayan adhh‍yapan, prajapalan, yuddh, krishi, vanijh‍y aur seva adi kartavh‍y karmoan se siddh hone vala jo sh‍vadharm hai- usaka nam yajn hai.
  4. is kathan se brahma ji ne yah bhav dikhalaya hai ki is prakar apane-apane sh‍varth ka th‍yag karake ek doosare ko unh‍nat banane ke liye apane kartavh‍y ka palan karane se tum log is saansarik unh‍nati ke sath sath param kalh‍yanaroop moksh ko bhi praph‍t ho jaoge. abhipray yah hai ki yahaan devataoan ke liye to brahma ji ka yah adesh hai ki manushh‍y yadi tum logoan ki seva, pooja, yajnadi n karean to bhi tum kartavh‍y samajhakar unaki unh‍nati karo aur manushh‍yoan ke prati yah adesh hai ki devataoan ki unh‍nati aur pushti ke liye hi sh‍varth th‍yagapoorvak devataoan ki seva, pooja, yajnadi karm karo. isake siva anh‍y rrishi, pitar, manushh‍y, pashu, pakshi, kit, patang adi ko bhi ni:sh‍varth bhav se sh‍vadharm palan ke dvara sukh pahuanchao.
  5. devata log srishti ke adikal se manushh‍yoan ko sukh pahuanchane ke liye- unaki avashh‍yakataoan ko poorn karane ke nimitt pashu, pakshi, aushadh, vriksh, trin adi ke sahit sabaki pushti kar rahe haian aur anh‍n, jal, pushh‍p, phal, dhatu adi manushh‍yopayogi samash‍t vash‍tuean manushh‍yoan ko de rahe haian; jo manushh‍y un sab vash‍tuoan ko un devataoan ka rrin chukaye bina- unaka nh‍yayochit sh‍vath‍v unh‍hean arpan kiye bina sh‍vayan apane kam mean lata hai, vah chor hota hai.
  6. srishti kary ke sucharoo roop se sanchalan mean aur srishti ke jivoan ka bhalibhaanti bharan-poshan hone mean paanch shreni ke praniyoan ka parash‍par samh‍banh‍dh hai- devata, rrishi, pitar, manushh‍y aur anh‍y prani hai. in paanchoan ke sahayog se hi sabaki pushti hoti hai. devata samash‍t sansar ko isht bhog dete haian, rrishi maharshi sabako jnan dete haian, pitar log santan ka bharan-poshan karate aur hit chahate haian, manushh‍y karmoan ke dvara sabaki seva karate haian aur pashu, pakshi, vrikshadi sabake sukh ke sadhan roop mean apane ko samarpit kiye rahate haian. in paanchoan mean yogh‍yata, adhikar aur sadhan samh‍panh‍n hone ke karan sabaki pushti ka dayith‍v manushh‍y par hai. isi se manushh‍y shash‍triy karmoan ke dvara sabaki seva karata hai. panchamahayajn se yahaan lokasevaroop shash‍triy sath‍karm ki vivakshit hai. is drishti se manushh‍y ka yah kartavh‍y hai ki vah jo kuchh bhi kamave, usamean in sabaka bhag samajhe; kh‍yoanki vah sabaki sahayata aur sahayog se kamata khata hai. isiliye jo yajn karane ke bad bache hue anh‍n ko arthat in sabako unaka praph‍y bhag dekar usase bache hue anh‍n ko khata hai, usi ko shash‍trakar amritashi (amrit khane vala) batalate haian.
