- jo vidvan paparoop phal dene vale karmoan ka arambh nahian karata, vah badhata hai; kiantu jo poorv mean kiye hue papoan ka vichar n karake unhian ka anusaran karata hai, vah khoti buddhivala manushhy agadh kich d se bhare hue ghor narak mean giraya jata hai. (35)
- buddhiman purush mantrabhed ke in chh: dvaroan ko jane aur dhan ko rakshit rakhane ki ichchha se inhean sada band rakhe- madak vastuoan ka sevan, nidra, avashhyak batoan ki jankari n rakhana, apane netr-mukh adi ka vikar, dushht mantriyoan par vishvas aur karyoan mean akushal doot par bhi bharosa rakhana. (36-37)
- rajan! jo in dvaroan ko janakar sada band kiye rahata haian, vah arth, dharm aur kam ke sevan mean laga rah kar shatruoan ko vash mean kar leta hai. (38)
- brihaspati ke saman manushhy bhi shastrajnan athava vriddhoan ki seva kiye bina dharm aur arth ka jnan nahian prapt kar sakate. (39)
- samudr mean giri huee vastu vinash ko prapt ho jati hai; jo sunata nahian, usase kahi huee bat bhi vinashht ho jati hai; ajitendriy purush ka shastrajnan aur rakh mean kiya hua havan bhi nasht hi hai. (40)
- buddhiman purush buddhi se jachankar apane anubhav se baranbar unaki yogyata ka nishchay kare; phir doosaroan se sun kar aur svayan dekhakar bhali-bhaanti vichar karake vidvanoan ke sath mitrata kare. (41)
- vinayabhav apayash ka nash karata hai, parakram anarth ko door karata hai, kshama sada hi krodh ka nash karati hai aur sadachar kulakshan ka ant karata hai. (42)
- rajan! nana prakar ke parichchhad[1], mata, ghar, seva-shushroosha aur bhojan tatha vastr ke dvara kul ki pariksha kare. (43)
- dehabhiman se rahit purush ke pas bhi yadi nyay yukt padarth svat: upasthit ho to vah usaka virodh nahian karata, phir katasakt manushhy ke liye to kahana hi kya hai? (44)
- jo vidvanoan ki seva mean rahane vala, vaidy, dharmik, dekhane mean sundar, mitroan se yukt tatha madhurabhashi ho, aise suhridh ki sarvatha raksha karani chahiye. (45)
- adham kul mean utpann hua ho ya uttam kul mean- jo maryada ka ullaghann nahian karata, dharm ki apeksha rakhata hai, komal svabhav vala tatha salajj hai, vah saik doan kulinoan se badhakar hai. (46)
- jin do manushhyoan ka chitt se chitt, gupt rahasy se gupt rahasy aur buddhi se buddhi mil jati hai, unaki mitrata kabhi nashht nahian hoti. (47)
- medhavi purush ko chahiye ki trin se dhanke hue kuean ki bhaanti durbuddhi evan vicharashakti se hin purush ka parityag kar de; kyoanki usake sath ki huee mitrata nashht ho jati hai. (48)
- vidvan purush ko uchit hai ki abhimani, moorkh, krodhi, sahasik aur dharmahin purushoan ke sath mitrata n kare. (49)
- mitr to aisa hona chahiye, jo kritajn, dharmik, satyavadi, udar, dridh anurag rakhane vala, jitendriy, maryada ke bhitar rahane vala aur maitri ka tyag n karane vala ho. (50)
- indriyoan ko sarvatha rok kar rakhana to mrityu se bhi badhakar kathin hai aur unhean bilkul khuli chho d dena devataoan ka bhi nash kar deta hai. (51)
- sampoorn praniyoan ke prati komalata ka bhav, gunoan mean dosh n dekhana, kshama, dhairy aur mitroan ka apaman n karana- ye sab gun ayu ko badhane vale haian- aisa vidvan log kahate haian. (52)
