mahabharat: udyog parv: saphtatriansh adhyay: shlok 48-64 ka hindi anuvad
- jo arth ki poorn siddhi chahata ho, use pahale dharm ka hi acharan karana chahiye. jaise shvarg se amrit door nahian hota, usi prakar dharm se arth alag nahian hota. (48)
- jisaki buddhi pap se hatakar kalhyan mean laga di gayi hai, usane sansar mean jo bhi prakriti aur vikriti hai- us sabako jan liya hai. (49)
- jo samayanusar dharm, arth aur kam ka sevan karata hai, vah is lok aur paralok mean bhi dharm, arth aur kam ko prapht karata hai. (50)
- rajan! jo krodh aur harsh ke uthe hue veg ko rok leta hai aur apatti mean bhi moh ko prapht nahian hota, vahi rajalakshhmi ka adhikari hota hai. (51)
- rajan! apaka kalhyan ho, manushhy mean sada paanch prakar ka bal hota hai; use suniye. jo bahubal namak pratham bal hai,nikrisht bal kahalata hai; mantri ka milana doosara bal hai ,manishi log dhan ke labh ko tisara bal batate haian, aur rajan! jo bap-dadoan se prapt hua manushy ka svabhavik bal [1] hai,vah 'abhijat' namak chautha bal hai. bharat! jisase in sabhi baloan ka sangrah ho jata hai tatha jo sab baloan mean shreshth bal hai, vah paanchava 'buddhi ka bal' kahalata hai.(
- jo manushy ka bahut b da apakar kar sakata hai,us purush ke sath vair thanakar is vishvas par nishchinht n ho jay ki maian usase door hooan [2] (56)
- aisa kaun buddhiman hoga, jo shtri, raja, saanp, padhe hue path, samarthhyashali vhyakti, shatru, bhog aur ayu par poorn vishvas kar sakata hai? (57)
- jisako buddhi ke ban se mara gaya hai, us jiv ke liye n koee vaidy hai, n dava hai, n hom, n mantr, n koee maangalik kary, n atharvavedokht prayog aur n bhali-bhaanti siddh j di-booti hi hai. (58)
- bharat! manushhyoan ko chahiye ki vah saanp, agni, sianh aur apane kul mean uthpanhn vhyakti ka anadar n kare; khyoanki ye sabhi b de tejashvi hote haian. (59)
- sansar mean agni ek mahan tej hai, vah kath mean chhipi rahati hai; kiantu jab tak doosare log prajvalit n kar dean, tab tak vah us kath ko nahian jalati. (60)
- vahi agni yadi kashhth se mathakar uddipht kar di jati hai to vah apane tej se us kath ko, jangal ko tatha doosari vashtuoan ko bhi jalhdi hi jala dalati hai. (61) * isi prakar apane kul mean uthpanhn ve agni ke saman tejashvi panhdav kshama bhav se yukht aur vikar shoonhy ho kashhth mean chhipi agni ki tarah gupht roop se [3]sthit haian. (62)
- apane putroan sahit ap lata ke saman haian aur panhdav mahan shalavriksh ke sadrish haian; mahan vriksh ka ashray liye bina lata kabhi badh nahian sakati. (63)
- rajan! ambikanandan! apake putr ek van haian aur panhdavoan ko usake bhitar rahane vale sianh samajhiye. tat! sianh se soona ho jane par van nashht ho jata hai aur van ke bina sianh bhi nashht ho jate haian. (64)
is prakar shrimahabharat udyogaparv ke aantargat prajagaraparv mean viduraji ke hitavakhyavishayak saiantisavaan adhhyay poora hua.
