yudhishhthir ne poochha- devadeveshhvar! brahman, kshatriy aur vaishyoan ko kis prakar havan karana chahiye? aur unake dvara kis prakar kiya hua havan shubh hota hai? vibho! aghni ke kitane bhed haian? unake prithak-prithak shvaroop khya haian? kis aghni ka kahaan shthan hai? aghnihotr purush kis aghni mean havan karake kis lok ko prapht hota hai? nishhpap! poorvakal mean aghnihotr kisake nimitt se uthpanhn hua tha? devataoan ke lieye kis prakar havan kiya jata hai aur kaise unaki triphti hoti hai? pravakhtaoan mean shreshhth shrikrishhn! vidhi ke anusar manhtroan sahit pooja ki jane par tinoan aghniyaan aghnihotri ko kis prakar kis gati ko prapht karati haian? bhagavan! keshav! yadi tinoan aghniyoan ke shvaroop ko n janakar unamean avidhipoorvak havan kiya jay athava unaki upasana mean truti rah jay to ve trividh aghni aghnihotri ka khya anishht karate haian? deveshhvar! jisane aghni ka parithyag kar diya ho, vah papathma kis yoni mean janhm leta hai ? ye sar batean sankshep mean mujhe sunaiye; khyoanki maian bhakhti bhav se apaki sharan mean aya hooan. bhagavan! ap sarvajn haian, sabase mahan hai; at: apako maian namashkar karata hooan. shribhagavan ne kaha- rajan! is mahan punhyadayak aur param dharmaroopi amrit ka varnan suno. yah dharmaparayan aghnihotri brahmanoan ko bhavasagar se par kar deta hai. mahatejashvi maharaj! maianne srishhti ke praramhbh mean brahmashvaroop se samhpoorn lokoan ki srishhti ki aur logoan ki bhalaee ke liye apane mukh se sarvapratham aghni ko prakat kiya. is prakar aghni-tattv mere dvara sab bhootoan ke pahale uthpanhn kiya gaya hai, isaliye puranoan ke jnata manishi vidvan use agni kaha jata haian. samasht karyoan mean sabase age prajhvalit ag mean hi ahuti di jati hai, isaliye yah aghni kaha jata hai. rajan! yah bhali-bhaanti poojit hone par brahmanoan ko agrayagati (paramapad)– ki praphti karata hai, isaliye bhi devataoan mean aghni ke nam se vikhhyat hai. narottam! yadi isamean vidhi ka ulhlanghan karake havan kiya jay to yah ek kshan mean hi yajamanoan ko kha jane ki shakhti rakhata hai, isaliye aghni ko kravhyad kaha gaya hai. rajan! yah aghni samhpoorn bhootoan ka shvaroop aur devataoan ka mukh hai. at: inhdriyoan aur man-buddhi par sanyam rakhane vale siddh saphtarshigan aghni ki aradhana mean tathpar rahane ke karan hi devataoan ke shvaroop ko prapht hue haian. rajanh! ab ekagrachitt hokar aghnihotr ka prakar suno. ab mai tin aghniyoan ke gun ke anusar nam bata raha hooan. grihoan ka adhipathy hi grihapathy mana gaya hai. yah grihapathy jis aghni mean pratishhthit hai, vahi ‘garhapathy aghni’ ke nam se prasiddh hai. jo aghni yajaman ko dakshin marg se shvarg mean le jata hai, us dakshin mean rahane vale aghni ko brahman log ‘dakshinaghni' kahate haian. ‘ahuti’ shabhd sarv ka vachak hai aur havan nam hi hai havhy ka. sab prakar ke havhy ko shvikar karane vala vahni ‘ahavaniy aghni’ kahalata hai. |
