dvijashreshth! mrityukal mean jiv ka tan-man vedana se vyathit hota hai, is bat ko bhalibhaanti jan lo. is tarah sansar ke sabhi prani sada janm aur maran se udvign rahata hai. vipravar! sabhi jiv apane shariroan ka tyag karate dekhe jate haian. garbh mean manushy pravesh karate samay tatha garbh se niche girate samay bhi vaisi hi vedana ka anubhav karata hai. mrityu kal mean jivoan ke sharir ki sandhiyaan tootane lagati haian aur janm ke samay vah garbhasth jal se bhigakar atyant vyakul ho uthata hai. any prakar ki tivr vayu se prerit ho sharir mean sardi se kupit huee jo vayu paanchoan bhootoan mean pran aur apan ke sthan mean sthit hai, vahi panchabhootoan ke sanghat ka nash karati hai tatha vah dehadhariyoan ko b de kasht se tyagakar oordhvalok ko chali jati hai. is prakar jab jiv sharir ka tyag karata hai, tab praniyoan ka sharir uchchhvas hin dikhayi deta hai. usamean garmi, uchchhvas, shobha aur chetana kuchh bhi nahian rah jati. is tarah jivatma se parityakt us sharir ko log mrit (mara hua) kahate hai. dehadhari jiv jin indriyoan ke dvara roop, ras adi vishayoan ka anubhav karata hai, unake dvara vah bhojan se paripusht hone vale pranoan ko nahian jan pata. is sharir ke bhitar rahakar jo kary karata hai, vah sanatan jiv hai. kahian-kahian sandhisthanoan mean jo-jo aang sanyukt hota hai, us-us ko tum marm samajho, kyoanki shastr mean marmasthan ka aisa hi lakshan dekha gaya hai. un marmasthanoan (sandhiyoan)-ke vilag hone par vayu oopar ko uthati huee pran ke hriday mean pravisht ho shighr hi usaki buddhi ko avaruddh kar leti hai.

tab antakal upasthit hone par prani sachetan hone par bhi kuchh samajh nahian pata, kyoanki tum (avidya)- ke dvara usaki jnanashakti avritt ho jati hai. marmasthan bhi avaruddh ho jate hai. us samay jiv ke liye koee adhar nahian rah jata hai aur vayu use apane sthan se vichalit kar deti hai. tab vah jivatma baranbar bhanyakar evan lanbi saans chho dakar bahar nikalane lagata hai. us samay sahasa is j d sharir ko kampit kar deta hai. sharir se alag hone par vah jiv apane kiye hue shubh kary puny athava ashubh kary pap karmoan dvara sab or se ghira rahata hai. jinhoanne ved-shastroan ke siddhaantoan ka yathavat adhyayan kiya hai, ve jnan sampann brahman lakshanoan ke dvara yah jan lete haian ki amuk jiv punyatma raha hai. amuk jiv papi. jis tarah aankh vale manushy aandhere mean idhar-udhar ugate-bujhate hue khadyot ko dekhate haian, usi prakar jnan-netr vale siddh purush apani divy drishti se janmate, marate tatha garbh mean pravesh karate hue jiv ko sada dekhate rahate haian. shastr ke anusar jiv ke tin prakar ke sthan dekhe gaye haian (mrityulok, svargalok aur narak). yah mrityulok ki bhoomi jahaan bahut se prani rahate haian, karmabhoomi kahalati hai. at: yahaan shubh aur ashubh karm karake sab manushy usake phalasvaroop apane karmoan ke anusar achchhe-bure bhog prapt karate haian.
