jo raja ann ka dan karata hai, usake liye ann ke paudhe ihalok aur paralok mean bhi sanpoorn manobaanchhit phal dene vale hote haian, isamean sanshay nahian hai. jaise kisan achchhi vrishti manaya karate haian, usi prakar pitar bhi yah asha lagaye rahate haian ki kabhi ham logoan ka putr ya pautr bhi hamare liye ann pradan karega. brahman ek mahan prani hai. yadi vah ‘mujhe ann do’ is prakar sh‍vayan ann ki yachana karata hai to manushy ko chahiye ki sakam bhav se ya nishkam bhav se use ann dan dekar puny prapt kare.

bharat! brahman sab manushyoan ka atithi aur sabase pahale bhojan pane ka adhikari hai. brahman jis ghar par sada bhijna maangane ke liye jate haian aur vahaan se satkar pakar lautate haian, us ghar ki sanpatti adhik badh jati hai tatha us ghar ka malik marane ke bad mahan saubhagyashali kul mean janm pata hai. jo manushy is lok mean sada ann, uttam sthan aur mishthan ka dan karata hai, vah devataoan se sammanit hokar svargalok mean nivas karata hai. nareshh‍var! ann hi manushyoan ke pran haian, ann mean hi sab pratishthit hai, atah annadan karane vala manushy pashu, putr, dhan, bhog, bal aur roop bhi prapt kar leta hai. jagat mean annadan karane vala purush pranadata aur sarvasv dene vala kahalata hai. atithi brahman ko vidhipoorvak annadan karake data paralok mean sukh pata hai aur devata bhi usaka adar karate haian.

yudhishthir! brahman mahan prani evan uttam kshetr hai. usamean jo bij boya jata hai, vah mahan puny phal dene vala hota hai. ann ka dan hi ek aisa dan hai, jo data aur bhokta- donoan ko pratyaksh roop se santusht karane vala hota hai. isake siva any jitane dan haian, un sabaka phal paroksh hai. bharat! ann se hi santan ki utpatti hoti hai. ann se hi rati ki siddhi hoti hai. ann se hi dharm aur arth ki siddhi samajho. ann se hi rogoan ka nash hota hai. poorv kalp mean prajapati ne ann ko amrit batalaya hai. bhoolok, svarg aur akash ann roop hi haian; kyoanki ann hi sab ka adhar hai. ann ka ahar n milane par sharir mean rahane vale paanchoan tattv alag-alag ho jate haian. ann ki kami ho jane se b de-b de balavanoan ka bal bhi kshin ho jata hai. nimantran, vivah aur yajn bhi ann ke bina band ho jate haian. narashreshth! ann n ho to vedoan ka jnan bhi bhool jata hai.

yah jo kuchh bhi sthavar-jangamaroop jagat hai, sab-ka-sab ann ke hi adhar par tika hua hai. atah buddhiman purushoan ka chahiye ki tinoan lokoan mean dharm ke liye ann ka dan avashh‍y karean. prithvinath! annadan karane vale manushy ke bal, oj, yash aur kirti ka tinoan lokoan mean sada hi vistar hota rahata hai. bharat! pranoan ka svami pavan meghoan ke oopar sthit hota hai aur megh mean jo jal hai, use indr dharati par barasate haian. soory apani kiranoan se prithvi ke rasoan ko grahan karate haian. vayu dev soory se un rasoan ko lekar phir bhoomi par barasate haian.
