uma ne kaha- bhagavan! sarvabhooteshvar! jagat mean daiv ki prerana se hi sabaki karmamarg mean pravritti hoti hai. aisi kuchh logoan ki manyata hai. doosare log kriya ko pratyaksh dekhakar aisa manate haian ki cheshta se hi sabaki pravritti hoti hai, daiv se nahian. ye do paksh haian. inamean mera man sanshay mean p d jata hai, atah mahadev! yatharth bat bataiye. ise sunane ke liye mere man mean b da kautoohal ho raha hai.

shrimaheshvar ne kaha- devi! maian tumhean tattv ki bat bata raha hooan, ekagrachitt hokar suno.

manushyoan mean do prakar ka karm dekha jata hai, use suno. inamean ek to poorvakrit karm hai aur doosara ihalok mean kiya gaya hai. ab maian daiv aur manushy donoan se sampadit hone vale laukik karm ka varnan karata hooan. krishi mean jo jutaee, bovaee, ropani, katani tatha aise hi aur bhi jo kary dekhe jate haian, ve sab manush kahe gaye haian. daiv se us karm mean saphalata aur asaphalata hoti hai. manush karm mean buraee bhi sambhav hai. uttam prayatn karane se kirti prapt hoti hai aur bure upayoan ke avalamban se apayash.

devi! adikal se hi jagat ki aisi hi avastha hai. bij ka ropana aur katana adi manushy ka kam hai, parantu samay par varsha hona, bovaee ka sundar parinam nikalana, bij mean aankur utpann hona aur shasy ka shrenibaddh hokar prakat hona ityadi kary devasambandhi bataye gaye haian. daiv ki anukoolata se hi in karyoan ka sampadan hota hai. panchabhootoan ki sthiti, grah-nakshatroan ka chalana-phirana tatha jahaan manushyoan ki buddhi n pahuanch sake athava kinhian karanoan ya yuktiyoan se bhi samajh mean n a sake- aisa karm shubh ho ya ashubh daiv mana jata hai aur jis bat ko manushy svayan kar sake, use paurush kaha gaya hai. keval daiv ya purusharth se phal ki siddhi nahian hoti.

priye! pratyek vastu ya kary ek hi sath purusharth aur daiv donoan se hi guantha hua hai. daiv aur purusharth donoan ke samanakalik sahayog se karm sampann hota hai. jaise ek hi kal mean sardi aur garmi donoan hoti haian, usi prakar ek hi samay daiv aur purusharth donoan kam karate haian. in donoan mean jo purusharth hai, usaka arambh vijn purush ko pahale karana chahiye. jo apane-ap hona sambhav nahian hai, usako arambh karane se manushy kirti ka bhagi hota hai. jaise lok mean bhoomi khodane se jal tatha kashth ka manthan karane se agni ki prapti hoti hai, usi prakar purusharth karane par daiv ka sahayog svatah prapt ho jata hai. jo manushy karm nahian karata, usako daivi sahayata nahian prapt hoti, atah samast karyoan ka arambh daiv aur purusharth donoan par nirbhar hai.

uma ne poochha- bhagavan! sarvalokeshvar! lokanath! vrishadhvaj! karmoan ka phal bhogane vale jivatma namak kisi dravy ki satta nahian hai, isaliye mara hua jiv phir janm nahian leta hai. jaise vriksh se phal paida hota hai, usi prakar svabhav se hi sab kuchh utpann hota hai aur jaise samudr se laharean prakat hoti haian, usi prakar svabhav se hi jagat ki akriti prakat hoti hai.
