isaliye jab koee vriddh purush apane pas ave, tab use pranam karake baithane ko asan de aur sh‍vayan hath jo dakar usaki seva mean upasthit rahe. phi‍r vah jane lage, tab usake pichhe-pichhe kuchh door tak jaye. phate huye asan par n baithe. phooti huee kaansi ki thali ko kam mean n le. ek hi vash‍tr (keval dhoti) pahanakar bhojan n kare. (sath mean gamachha bhi liye rahe) nagh‍n hokar sh‍nan n kare. nange hokar n soye. uchchhishh‍t avash‍tha mean bhi shayan n kare. joothe hath se mash‍tak ka sh‍parsh n kare, kh‍yoanki samash‍t pran mash‍tak ke hi ashrit haian. sir ke bal pak dakar khianchana aur mastak par prahar karana varjit hai. donoan hath satakar unase apana sir n khujalave. baranbar mash‍tak par pani n dale. in sab batoan ke palan se manushh‍y ki ayu kshin nahian hoti hai.

sir par tel lagane ke bad usi ha‍th se doosare aangoan ka sh‍parsh nahian karana chahiye aur til ke bane hue padarth nahian khane chahie. aisa karane se manushh‍y ki ayu kshin nahian hoti hai. joothe muanh n padhave tatha uchchhishh‍t avash‍tha mean sh‍vayan bhi kabhi sh‍vadhh‍yay n kare. yadi durganh‍dhayukh‍t vayu chale, tab to man se sh‍vadhh‍yay ka chiantan bhi nahian karana chahiye.

prachin itihas ke janakar log is vishay mean yamaraj ki gayi huee gatha sunaya karate haian. yamaraj kahate haian- ‘jo manushh‍y joothe muanh uthakar dau data aur sh‍vadhh‍yay karata hai, maian usaki ayu nashh‍t kar deta hooan aur usaki santanoan ko bhi usase chhin leta hooan. jo dvij mohavash anadhh‍yay ke samay bhi adhh‍yayan karata hai, usake vaidik jnan aur ayu ka bhi nash ho jata hai. at: savadhan purush ko nishiddh samay mean kabhi vedoan ka adhh‍yayan nahian karana chahiye.

jo soory, agni, gau tatha brahmanoan ki or muanh karake peshab karate haian aur jo bich rash‍te mean mootate haian, ve sab gatayu ho jate haian. mal aur mootr donoan ka th‍yag din mean uth‍tarabhimukh hokar kare aur rat mean dakshinabhimukh. aisa karane se ayu ka nash nahian hota. jise dirgh kal tak jivit rahane ki ichh‍chha ho, vah brahman, kshatriy aur sarp- in tinoan ke durval hone par bhi inako n chhe de; kh‍yoanki ye sabhi b de jaharile hote haian. krodh mean bhara hua saanp jahaan tak aankhoan se dekh pata hai, vahaan tak dhava karake katata hai. kshatriy bhi kupit hone par apani shaktibhar shatru ko bhash‍m karane ki cheshh‍ta karata hai; parantu brahman jab kupit hota hai, tab vah apani drishti aur sankalh‍p se apaman karane vale purush ke samh‍poorn kul ko dagh‍dh kar dalata hai; isaliye samajhadar manushh‍y ko yath‍napoorvak in tinoan ki seva karani chahiye. guru ke sath kabhi hath nahian thanana chahiye.

yudhishthir! yadi guru aprasanh‍n ho to unh‍hean har tarah se man dekar manakar prasanh‍n karane ki cheshh‍ta karani chahiye.
