apane-apane adhikaranusar kartavy karm mean nishtha hona ‘sadgun’ hai, is tarah usaki prashansa ki gayi hai. isake viparit apane kartavy ke vishay mean nishtha n hona ‘dosh’ hai. gun-don ka yah nishchit lakshan hai.
2. parokshavado vedoayan balanaan anushasanamh.
karm-mokshay karmani vidhatte hyagadan yatha॥

jis tarah bachchoan ko aushadhi pilate ya anushasan mean rakhate samay mithaee adi dekar phusalaya jata hai, usi tarah karmoan se chhutakara pane ke lie ajn purushoan ko ved karm hi karane ka upadesh deta hai. karan, vah parokshapriy hai yani ghuma phirakar batana use pasand hai.
3. vedoktamev kurvano niahsangoarpitamishvare.
naishkarmyaan labhate siddhian rochanartha phalashrutiah॥

shabd-brahm ka arth hai ved. usaka rahasy samajhana kathin hai. vah pran, man aur iandriyoan ke roop se (para, pashyanti aur madhyama vani ke roop se) prakat hota hai. vah samudr ki tarah asim, ganbhir aur agadh hai.
5. maan vidhatteabhidhatte maan vikalpyapohyate tvahamh.
aitavanh sarvavedarthah shabd asthay maan bhidamh.
mayamatran anoodhatte pratishiddhy prashamyati..

ved mere vishay mean vidhi batata hai, mera varnan karata hai aur ved dvara shabdoan se vividh roop mean jise-jise lakshy kar vishvakarta adi nana kalpanaean ki jati aur mitayi jati hai, vah bhi maian (paramatma) hooan- yahi sanpoorn vedoan ka sar hai.
6. shabd-brahmani nishnato n nishnayath pare yadi.
shramash tasy shram-phalo hyadhenumiv rakshatah..

yadi koee shabd-brahm yani ved ka shabdik vidvan ho jae, kiantu parabrahm ke jnan se vanchit rahe, to usake us shram ka- usake kasht se arjit ved jnan ka- phal keval shram hi hai. thaanth gay ko palane vale purush ke shram ki tarah vah shram bhi vyarth hai.
