'sansar mean keval duahkh hi hai, sukh nahian, atah duahkh hi upalabdh hota hai. trishnajanit pi da se duahkh aur duahkh ki pi da se sukh hota hai arthath duahkh se art hue manushy ko hi usake n rahane par sukh ki pratiti hoti hai. sukh ke bad duahkh aur duahkh ke bad sukh ata hai. koee bhi n to sada duahkh pata hai aur n nirantar sukh hi prapt karata hai. kabhi duahkh ke ant mean sukh aur kabhi sukh ke ant mean duahkh bhi ata hai; jo nity sukh ki ichchha rakhata ho; vah in donoan ka parityag kar dean; kyoan ki duahkh sukh ke ant mean avashyambhavi hai, vaise hi sukh bhi duahkh ke ant mean avashyambhavi hai. jisake karan shok aur badha hua tap hota ho athava jo ayas ka bhi mool karan ho, vah apane sharir ka ek aang bhi ho to bhi usako tyag dena chahiye. sukh ho ya duahkh, priy ho athava apriy, jab jo kuchh prapt ho, us samay use saharsh apanave. apane hriday se usake samane parajay n svikar kare (himmat n hare). priy mitr! stri athava putroan ka tho da sa bhi apriy kar do, phir svayan samajh jaoge ki kaun kis hetu se kis tarah kisake sath kitana sambandh rakhata hai? sansar mean jo atyant moorkh haian, athava jo buddhi se pare pahuanch gaye haian, ve hi sukhi hote haian; bich vale log kasht hi uthate haian.'

yudhishthir! lok ke bhoot aur bhavishy tatha sukh evan duahkh ko janane vale dharmavetta mahajnani senajit ne aisa hi kaha hai. jis kisi bhi duahkh se jo dukhi hai, vah kabhi sukhi nahian ho sakata; kyoanki ant nahian hai. ek duahkh se doosara duahkh hota hi rahata hai. sukh-duahkh, utpatti-vinash, labh-hani aur jivan maran- ye samay-samay par kram se prapt hote haian. isaliye dhir purush inake liye harsh aur shok n karean. raja ke liye sangram mean joojhana hi yajn ki diksha lena bataya gaya hai. rajy ki raksha karate hue rananiti mean bhali-bhaanti pratishthit hona hi usake liye yogasadhan hai tatha yajn mean dakshina roop se dhan ka tyag evan uttam riti se dan hi raja ke liye tyag hai. ye tinoan karm raja ko pavitr karane vale haian, aisa samajhe.

jo raja ahankar chho dakar buddhimani se niti ke anusar rajy ki raksha karata hai, svabhav se hi yajn anushthan mean laga rahata hai aur dharm ki raksha ko drishti mean rakhakar sampoorn lokoan mean vicharata hai, vah mahamanasvi naresh dehatyag ke pashchath devalok mean anand bhogata hai. jo sangram vijay, rashtr ka palan, yajn mean somaras ka pan, prajaoan ki unnati tatha prajavarg ke hit ke liye yuktipoorvak dand dharan karate hue yu़ddh mean mrityu ko prapt hota hai, vah devalok mean anand ka bhagi hota hai. samyakh prakar se vedoan ka jnan, shastroan ka adhyayan, rajy ka thik-thik palan tatha charoan varnoan ka apane-apane dharm mean sthapan karake jo apane man ko pavitr kar chuka hai, vah raja devalok mean sukhi hota hai. svarg lok mean rahane par bhi jisake charitr ko nagar aur janapad ke manushy evan mantri mastak jhukate haian, vahi raja samast narapatiyoan mean sabase shreshth hai.
