brihashpati ke prashhn ke uthtar mean manu dvara kamanaoan ke thyag ki evan jnan ki prashansa tatha paramathtathv ka niroopan yudhishthir ne poochha- pitamah! jnan yog ka, vedoan ka tatha vedokht niyam (agnihotr adi) ka khya phal hai? samasht praniyoan ke bhitar rahane vale paramathma ka jnan kaise ho sakata haian ? yah mujhe bataiye. bhishhmaji ne kaha- rajan! is vishay mean prajapati manu tatha maharshi brihashpati ke sanvadaroop prachin itihas ka udaharan diya jata hai. ek samay ki bat hai, devata aur rrishiyoan ki manhdali mean pradhan mharshi brihashpati ne prajaoan ke shreshthatam prajapati guru manu ko shishhyabhav se pranam karake yah prachin prashhn poochha. bhagavan! jo is jagat ka karan hai, jisake liye vaidik karmoan ka anushthan kiya jata hai, brahman log jise hi jnan hone par prapht hone vala phal (parabrahm paramathma) batate haian tatha ved ke manhtr vakhyoan dvara jisaka tattv poornaroop sean prakash mean nahian ata, us nithy vashtu ka ap mere liye yathavadh roop se varnan kijiye. arthashastr, agam (ved) aur manhtr ko janane vale vidvan purush anekanek mahan yajnoan aur godanoan dvara jis sukhamay phal ki upasana karate haian, vah khya hai, kis prakar prapht hota hai aur kahaan usaki sthiti hai? bhagavan! prithhvi, parthiv padarth, vayu, akash, jalajanhtu, jal, dyulok aur devata jisase uthpanhn hote haian, vah puratan vashtu khya hai? yah mujhe bataiye. manushhy ko jis vashtu ka jnan hota hai, usi ko vah pana chahata hai aur pane ki ichhchha uthpanhn hone par usake liye vah prayathn aramhbh karata hai; parantu maian to us puratan paramothkrisht vashtu ke vishay mean kuchh janata hi nahian hooan; phir use pane ke liye jhootha prayathn kaise karooan? maianne rrikh, sam aur yajurved ka tatha chhanhd ka arthath atharvaved ka evan nakshatroan ki gati, nirookht, vhyakaran, kalhp aur shiksha ka bhi adhhyayan kiya hai to bhi maian akash adi paanchoan mahabhootoan ke upadan karan ko n jan saka. at: ap samanhy aur vishesh shabhdoan dvara is samhpoorn vishay ka mere nikat varnan kijiye. tathvajnan hone par kaun-sa phal prapht hota hai? karm karane par kis phal ki upalabdhi hoti hai? dehabhimani jiv deh se kis prakar nikalata hai aur phir doosare sharir mean kaise pravesh karata hai? ye sari batean ap mujhe bataiye. manu ne kaha- jisako jo-jo vishay priy hota hai, vahi usake liye sukharoop bataya gaya hai aur jo apriy hota hai, use hi du:kharoop kaha gaya hai. mujhe isht (priy) ki prapti ho aur anisht ka nivaran ho jay, isi ke liye karmoan ka anushthan aramhbh kiya gaya hai tatha isht aur anisht donoan hi mujhe prapht n hoan, isake liye jnanayog ka upadesh kiya gaya hai. veand mean jo karmoan ke prayog bataye gaye haian, ve pray: sakamabhav se yukht haian. jo in kamanaoan se mukht hota hai, vahi paramathma ko pa sakata hai. nana prakar ke karmamarg mean sukh ki ichhchha rakhakar pravritht hone vala manushhy paramathma ko prapht nahian hota. brihashpati ne kaha- bhagavan! sukh sabako abhisht hota hai aur du:kh kisi ko bhi priy nahi hota. isht ki prapti aur anisht ke nivaran ke liye jo kamana hoti haian, vahi manushhyoan se karm karavati hai aur un karmoan dvara unaka manorath poorn karati hai; at: kamana ko ap tyajy kaise batate haian? |
